Engaging After School Programs for Every Child
At Windermere Union Church Preschool, our After School Programs give children a safe, fun, and engaging way to extend their day. From creative art and science projects to structured play and social time, our programs help children explore, learn, and grow in a nurturing environment.
Lunch-n-Longer
Lunch-n-Longer extends your child’s day until 2:00 PM, offering extra playtime, lunch, and even a movie with friends. Available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, the program costs $50 per month for each day of the week your child is enrolled (September through May).
The fee is fixed regardless of holidays, bad weather, vacations, or illness.

LNL can be added on a daily basis for $20, subject to availability.

Monthly changes are allowed, but refunds are not issued mid-month.
Club Tuesday
Club Tuesday is a themed after-school program for children in our 3-Year-Old and VPK programs. Activities include a lunch from home and a creative project with exciting themes such as Muscles & Motion, Science, and Art.

Fee: $75 per 4-week session, including supplies

Enrollment is limited to 18 children per session
Club Wednesday Art
Our Club Wednesday Art program introduces children to various art techniques, from musical movement to abstract and bubble painting. Children enjoy lunch from home followed by an engaging art lesson and project.
Time: 12:15 PM – 1:30 PM

Club Wednesday Science
Club Wednesday Science offers hands-on science labs and experiments that encourage observation, exploration, and discovery. Children bring lunch from home and dive into exciting topics like magnets, plants, insects, and measurement activities.

Lunch Guidelines
Lunchtime at WUC Preschool is a fun, social learning activity that teaches children independence and social skills. To ensure a smooth lunch experience:
Label Everything
Place a WUCP name tag on lunchboxes.
Water Bottles
Must be packed inside the lunchbox or attached pocket. No loose bottles.
Bring all Essentials
 Drinks (juice box, pouch, or water bottle), utensils, napkins, and disposable straws.
Avoid Certain Foods
Per DCF and FCCPSA guidelines, foods linked to choking-like whole grapes, cherry tomatoes, nuts, cheese cubes, popcorn, or pretzel nuggets-must be cut into ½ inch pieces or smaller.
We encourage children to eat healthy items first, starting with protein or main items, then fruits, vegetables, yogurt, or other nutritious foods. Lunch lasts approximately 25 minutes, providing an enjoyable and social experience.
