Club Wednesday Description
Hands-On Learning on Wednesdays
Our Club Wednesday programs offer children in our 3-year-old and or 4-year-old VPK classes exciting, hands-on learning experiences. From science experiments to creative art projects and engaging story adventures, children explore new ideas, develop skills, and have fun in a small-group setting.
Registration Information
- Children may enroll in one Science Club only. Club Tuesday Science and Club Wednesday Science are duplicate lessons.
- Spots are filled in the order that online registration forms are submitted.
- Payment must be completed via PayPal with a credit card using the Club Wednesday payment link.
- If your selected club is full, we will contact you by email or phone with alternative options.
- Registration opens Tuesday, April 21st at 10:00 a.m.
- 3-week session fee: $45.00
- Dismissal: Promptly at 1:30 PM
Robots and Rockets Science (Limited to 18 Children)
- May 6th: Rollin' Robots - In this STEM activity we'll build our very own robot friends using things from home! Watch them roll, zoom and race around the room. Get ready to create, explore and have tons of fun.
- May 13th: Flying Cup Rockets- We'll make these easy and super fun rockets that soar through the air! While we create and play, we'll learn about forces, gravity, and trajectory. Time to launch into space!
- May 20th: 3..2..1..Blast Off!- Let's keep the rocket fun going! We'll learn more about rockets and the exciting ways they take off and sour into the sky!
Summer Fun Art Club (Limited to 18 Children)
- May 6th: Ocean Wind Chimes- Set the tone for summer fun with these colorful ocean wind chimes.
- May 13th: Paper Bag Jellyfish-Â Cut, color, and bedazzle your very own jellyfish -- sweeeet!
- May 20th:Â Beach Bags- Let's color our own beach bag and get this summer party started
Groovy Adventures with Pete the Cat Books and Beyond Adventures (Limited to 18 VPK Children)
- May 6th: Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons by Eric Litwin- We'll sing along and practice counting as Pete loses his buttons one by one -- but keeps on groovin'! Children will create their own button-themed craft while building early math skills like counting and number recognition.
- May 13th: Pete the Cat: Crayons Rock! by Kimberly & James Dean - Pete shows us that every color is special! We'll celebrate colors and creativity with a bright, crayon-inspired art project while encouraging self-expression and confidence.
- May 20th: Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party by Kimberly & James Dean - We'll wrap up our groovy adventures with a pizza party! Pete and his friends each bring their favorite toppings to create a one-of-a-kind pizza. Children will make their own pizza craft while exploring creativity, choices, and sharing. Â
